Scope of Directive 2014/68/EU of 15 May 2014 on the harmonization of the laws of the Member States relating to the making available on the market of pressure equipment
Scope of application The Pressure Equipment Directive (PED) (2014/68 / EU) applies to the design, manufacture and conformity assessment of stationary pressure equipment with a maximum allowable pressure above 0.5 bar. The Directive entered into force on 20 July 2016. The Pressure Equipment Directive aims to ensure the free movement of products within its scope by ensuring a high level of safety
